We had a perfect 4-night stay at this guesthouse with our two young children. The entire staff is incredibly kind, helpful, and always available. They are also very responsive. Our room had just been renovated and was beautiful: comfortable bedding, tasteful decor, and a great shower. Breakfast is generous and delicious.
The guesthouse was taken over by new owners a few months ago, and they are planning further improvements around the pool area—it will be amazing. Too bad we live too far away to come back! 😉

What a beautiful accommodation. It feels like part of nature. In addition to your own room, you also have a beautifully decorated living room. The 2 local chambermaids provide your breakfast with lots of love. Especially the genuine friendly smiles of these 2 ensure a cheerful start to the day.Friendly helpful Staff and owner are waiting for you. We get advice on restaurants and activities. High level service. On the last day I fell off my bike and my pants got dirty. The owner took my pants to her own house to wash and dry. I have never experienced such commitment and helpfulness. Highly recommended.

At the end of November we had a three day stay at Afrikhaya. Tammy gave us a warm welcome and showed us all the possibilities for tours, places to eat and creatures to be aware of. Meeting Tammy feels like visiting an old friend. The same night we witnessed three hippos casually strolling around town as well as a warthog checking out the goods.

A great thing about St. Lucia is that we felt very safe, both in and out of the premises.

In the morning Zanele and Marcia prepared an abundance of food consisting of fruits, yoghurt, freshly made eggs with or without bacon, toast, muffins and I'm sure I'm forgetting a few things.

Our rooms were kept super clean and tidy. There was a great shower with sun peaking through the window and a nice big bed of which we got out at 04.00 AM one day to go on a tour with Kyle, who is Tammy's brother.

Kyle provided a wonderful day by showing us hluhluwe-imfolozi park (pronounced exactly the same). We saw almost all of the big 5 and the park was absolutely stunning by itself. We had a well prepared breakfast and even a braai in the middle of the park.

All in all we were treated like Kings and Queens so I definitely vouch for all the people at Afrikhaya.

We were able to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and the stay in the guesthouse for a few days. What a wonderful and fully equipped guesthouse to relax and take trips to see wildlife. Roos and Jolanda know the area and are very helpful in arranging trips. Thanks for the hospitality.

We had a wonderful stay! We were warmly welcomed upon arrival. The room was beautifully decorated and provided with all the comforts. A big plus was that our laundry was ready the same day. The staff and the hostess were very helpful and told us a lot about St. Lucia and what we could do there. Highly recommended.

Beautiful, very spacious and luxurious room with a lovely bed, very good rain shower.
The fantastic breakfast is freshly prepared and served with a big smile.
We really enjoyed our stay. The laundry service was also great. In short, a great recommendation to stay.

St. Lucia we prefer above Kruger. Here is nature real nature. Our host and her staff were super.
They had good advises for trips in the area. We stayed 4 days.
